MK Total Wealth Management Group

"Our discovery and wealth management approach is driven by what matters most to you"

MK Total Wealth Management Group is not just the name of our investment advisory group. It describes and defines our strategic approach to asset accumulation.

We are far more than simply investment advisors. Supported by the huge resources of TD Bank Group, we deliver a comprehensive approach to:

• Investment, wealth and retirement planning strategies
• Wealth protection, tax and insurance strategies
• Business succession and sale initiatives
• Estate and trust planning strategies
• Charitable giving strategies

We believe that total wealth management embraces far more than day-to-day investment advice.

It includes financial and lifestyle protection, retirement planning, inter-generational wealth transfer, legacy creation and much more. Ultimately, all are inter-connected and no effective total wealth plan can afford to ignore them.

Standing at the heart of our practice is the one-on-one relationship we build with each client. That relationship is based on, and driven by, a strong level of personal trust , communication and understanding.

Two senior, seasoned advisors direct our practice, Jeff MacDonald and Peter Konidis, who have over 48 years collective experience as investment advisors.  The two have been working together since 1993.  The longevity and consistency of their relationship is a testament of the understanding, clear communication and respect they have for one another.

    Market Outlook Q2 2018

The global economy remained fundamentally strong as we entered 2018. Growth in 2017 was at the fastest pace since 2010 and was broad-based with the U.S, Canada, Europe and China all posting strong gross domestic product (GDP) numbers.

A requiem for the new era?

Is this the end of the new era thesis? You know the one that expounds the benefits of globalization and free trade. A flat world of interconnectedness, where big data is computed to uncover our every want, where every aspect of our lives is shared online, all from the confines of our wired and alarmed homes; a safe place where we don’t have to use our computers or tablets, perhaps not even our thoughts, because a robot will do most of the work for us.

    The Layoff Payoff

When Rachel heard the insurance company she worked for was being bought out by a competitor, she worried she would be out of a job. As the seniority lists were made, and the redundancy notices handed out, Rachel learned, sure enough, she was out the door.
