giving back is an important part of who we are.
Through the Anderssen Wealth Management Giving Foundation and ongoing relationships with local organizations, Mike and the team support initiatives that strengthen families, improve communities, and create opportunities for those in need.
Over the years, this has included:
- Contributing to healthcare and hospice programs
- Supporting children’s organizations and family services
- Working with community charities across Nova Scotia
For us, philanthropy is about more than donations. It is about showing up, building relationships, and helping create lasting impact where it matters most.

South Shore Palliative Care Society
We were proud to serve as presenting sponsor of the South Shore Palliative Care Society’s Starry Night Gala, supporting patients and families in Lunenburg and Queens counties who are navigating life-limiting illnesses or end-of-life care.
Remembering When Concert
As a recurring sponsor of the “Remembering When” concerts, we help support the Health Services Foundation of the South Shore. Proceeds from these events go toward enhancing healthcare across the South Shore by funding medical equipment, innovations, and programs.
United Way
We also support our local United Way, contributing to initiatives that strengthen communities and provide critical services to families in need.
