Why I do what I do

It is a great privilege to do what I do, and I am grateful to have developed strong relations of trust with my clients over the years.

I often assist clients with unrelated financial questions and have become the "go to" person for any guidance. 

My role is to guide clients through lifestyle changes and market volatility to provide financial confidence while adhering to their Financial Plan.

How I help clients

I work closely with TD specialists who provide advice to our clients on Tax and Estate Planning as well as Trust services.  

This is a complimentary part of the service that we offer.

Developing a strategic Financial Plan is of utmost importance.

It is important that my clients know that I am there for them at times of lifestyle changes or concerns.

My background
I began my Investment Advisor career at Merrill Lynch in 1999 and joined TD Wealth in 2006.

I hold the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Financial Management Advisor (FMA) designations.

I am also a Life Insurance Advisor with TD Wealth Insurance Services. 

My son Dominic is a part of the Team.

Why I do what I do

As a Senior Investment Advisor, my work is driven by a natural curiosity and a genuine desire to understand and support the people I serve to be more effective in helping them achieve their financial goals. Growing up, my mother's work taught me that this profession is about more than just managing portfolios; it's about being a problem-solver, a coach, and a trusted friend. The meaningful, relationship-centered approach I saw her take with clients is what continues to inspire my work as a Senior Investment Advisor today.

How I Help Clients

While some may assume my days are spent picking stocks, my true focus is helping clients build practical, personalized plans to achieve their financial goals and aspirations. Philanthropy has also become an increasingly important conversation and we enjoy helping clients shape meaningful legacies that can benefit both their loved ones today and generations to come. Having my Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designations allows me to create comprehensive wealth plans including tax strategies that align with each client’s unique needs and ambitions. These serve as a blueprint to help preserve clients' wealth and provide them with financial confidence. I am also a Life Insurance Advisor with TD Wealth Insurance Services.

My Background

Born and raised in the London community. My wife and I are the proud parents of 2 boys. I enjoy golfing, supporting various community events, and traveling to experience new cultures, cuisines, and the incredible people we meet along the way.

Why I do what I do

Seeing my clients, family, friends, and my community achieve their financial and personal objectives based on my advice is the most gratifying feeling for me.

I have been very fortunate that throughout my life I have been mentored by outstanding individuals who taught me that discipline, teamwork, and a constant pursuit of self-development will yield a combined result that is worth a lot more than just financial success on its own. Sharing and applying this experience with my clients gives me a feeling of self-fulfillment and purpose. Being entrusted with a responsibility to steward your family, business or institution on a financial journey may be a challenging task, but together, we can achieve success however you chose to define it.

How I Help Clients

I show up and take action. Our team implements one process that in collaboration with you, will allow us to make timely decisions regardless of their complexity. This process is called OODA loop (Observe, Orient, Decide, Act) and it involves 4 stages:

  • We Observe your financial surrounding and where you are in your stage of life by asking targeted and open-ended questions.
  • We Orient your objectives, goals, and milestones on a financial plan by confirming relevant information and assumptions.
  • We Decide to act together based on the information on hand.
  • We Action our plan and coordinate with strategic members of our team, as well as with TD specialists, who focus on financial, estate and succession planning. We also coordinate with your accountants, lawyers, and key stakeholders of your legacy.

My interests

I believe in supporting our community not only through financial resources but with my time. I am engaged with a few local non-profits that focus on child welfare, access to food, and financial literacy.

I am father to a beautiful girl, and we enjoy spending active time outdoors.
