In 2025, Michael rode in the CMHA Ride Don't Hide Kelowna event in June and the inaugural "Ride on 2025" event for the Canadian Cancer Society in August. He will be riding in both events again in 2026. For more information, please visit:

Michael participated in the BC Ride to Conquer Cancer event in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024; personally raising over $25,000 for cancer research. The 2020 ride was cancelled due to COVID and the event was renamed in 2021 to The Tour De Cure. The final year for the ride was 2024.
