LeanIn Wealth Management
Our team is committed to empowering women with the right information and advice so they can feel confident when making decisions that affect their financial picture and life goals. In investing, there is often a gap between promise and performance. If that has been your experience, I can offer a compelling alternative. Clear objectives. Long-term planning. Disciplined execution. Sustained effort. These are a few of the principles I practice. They work. The difference is I practice these principles with a focus on wealth goals and retirement planning (which is really life planning, isn't it?) for women. The female investor is vastly under-served in traditional financial strategies - my quest is to change that.
Today only 31 per cent of Canadian women have a financial plan and, moreover, many women are not confident about their financial literacy, despite the fact that they influence close to $1.3 trillion in the economy*. Even after becoming established in life and career, women may face some tough issues, personally and financially:
- How do I balance home and work?
- How to be single and still live the dream?
- How can I rebuild my wealth after a seperation?
- How do I cope with all this stress?
We are here to help you - each step of the way. To learn more, check out our Finances and the Single Woman series:

Why Settle for Less When You Can Lean In?
Specialized Planning
- Despite women controlling nearly $1.3 trillion in the Canadian economy, only 31% have a financial plan. Many feel unsure about their financial literacy yet face critical financial decisions regarding work-life balance, living joyously as an independent woman, rebuilding wealth post-separation, and managing stress effectively.1
- LGBTQI+ people were more likely to report negative emotions about their finances than positive ones. Roughly twice as many LGBTQI+ people as non-LGBTQI+ people reported feeling anxious (46% vs. 23%), overwhelmed (41% vs. 22%), and depressed (32% vs. 16%) about their finances.2
- More than one in ten LGBTQI+ people in the survey (11%) said they had faced discrimination specifically in banking or financial services.2
