He graduated with Honors in Economics from the University of Calgary and obtained the Certificate in Retirement Strategy (CRS) from the Canadian Securities Institute. He is a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) and also Licensed in life and disability insurance planning.
His continued commitments to education has led him in pursuing the Certified International Wealth Manager (CIWM) designation.

Important Tax Information for 2026
Tax Free Savings Account (TFSA)
- 2026 TFSA contributions can now be made. The annual TFSA contribution limit for 2026 is $7,000 and you can carry forward unused contribution room from previous years.
Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP)
- Your RRSP contribution limit for the 2025 tax year can be found on your Canada Revenue Agency Notice of Assessment for 2024.
- The deadline for contributions to be in the 2025 tax year is 11:59 p.m. on March 2, 2026. The RRSP contribution limit for 2026, subject to any adjustments, is $33,810.
Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP)
- The lifetime maximum RESP contribution limit is $50,000 for each beneficiary.
