A seasoned investment professional with over 34 years of experience in the banking and investment industries, Tom brings a unique perspective to the challenges client face in building and protecting their wealth. His experience allows him to retain a calm and logical approach to the ups and downs of market cycles. He employs a measured approach and investment discipline, drawing on many resources to make tailored decisions in the interest of each client. His goal is to help them make smart, informed decisions about their money. Tom believes his success in advising clients is based on earning their confidence and trust by putting their financial interests first. With this approach, he has built many successful long-term client relationships. 

Born and raised in Ottawa, Tom chose to build his career here, where he benefits from a community he knows well and many contacts and connections. He earned an economics degree from Carleton University in 1983 and holds both a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and a Personal Financial Planner (PFP) designations. 

Tom has been happily married for 32 years and has two adult sons, of whom he is immensely proud. In his off hours, he is an avid skier and enjoys traveling with his wife, Michelle.
