Who We Are

At Thomson Marsh Wealth Management, our goal is to provide our clients with a deep and meaningful wealth management experience that is customized to their distinct needs and objectives. We work with high-net-worth individuals, families and their businesses throughout the Ottawa region to help them live the lifestyles they want for today while achieving their goals for tomorrow.

A Collaborative, Conservative Approach

We strive to cultivate an open and collaborative approach within our team. This helps us to leverage our strengths – more than 50 years of combined industry experience, a network of colleagues in retail banking, private banking and asset management, and the strength and stability of TD Bank Group – for the benefit of our clients.

We believe in a conservative approach to wealth management that focuses on “big picture” financial and investment planning. While building, growing and preserving your capital is our primary focus, this is done in conjunction with holistic financial planning that is tailored to you.

Investment Philosophy

The majority of what we do deals with an unpredictable future. Therefore, we feel that understanding and managing risk is paramount to favourable long-term outcomes and should be the primary focus of investment strategy. Our practice is founded on the principles of being careful, conservative and competent.

Investment Strategy

We believe that successful investing is based on a sound intellectual framework for decision making, whereby emotions do not interfere with the goal of compounding wealth over time. Through cost effective asset allocation and methodical rebalancing, we strive to help protect capital, determine volatility and achieve a reasonable return based on a client's objectives and risk tolerance.
