About Us

At The Chambers Group, we provide outcome-based investment and planning solutions for a limited number of affluent families, corporations and foundations with a minimum of $2 million in investable assets.

Many of our clients have financial management needs with degrees of complexity that call for a variety of capabilities.  While our capabilities are vast, we make it easy for you to take advantage of all of them. By collaborating with other TD specialists, we will be your liaison to investment and banking services including Private Banking, Commercial Lending, Trust and Executor Services, and more - helping you to find customized solutions that cater to your specific requirements, no matter how unique.

We offer the objective and consultative approach of a family office structure, while having access to the global resources and institutional capabilities of one of the top financial institutions in Canada.

We have extensive experience assisting clients with life’s transitions by providing them wealth advice. We also bring in TD specialists as needed to help clients through their life stages:

  • Family transitions, such as births, weddings, deaths, or divorces
  • Business decisions, including providing relevant information to assist with purchase decisions, and collaborating with TD specialists to help with the transfer or sale of business, as well as merger, initial public offering, or capital markets access
  • Executive decisions, such as retirement, deferred compensation, managing individual options, exercising company owned options, corporate cash, and taxes in consultation with your tax professionals
  • Philanthropic endeavors, such as establishing and managing charitable foundations and endowments, as well as personal gifting

Investment Management
Our highly experienced and dedicated team of professionals is committed to delivering leading edge, institutional quality investment management.  The objective of the style of investing we implement is to allow our clients to earn steadier returns and weather market downturns with confidence.  We are creative and resourceful in identifying investments that can produce positive returns even when conventional stocks and bonds are performing poorly.  In addition to traditional securities, we invest in alternative asset classes which are typically not available to average investors.  This includes real assets such as private real estate and infrastructure, private equity and debt, long/short equity and credit strategies, options strategies and derivatives.

The Chambers Group is a part of TD Wealth Private Investment Advice, a division of TD Waterhouse Canada Inc. which is a subsidiary of The Toronto-Dominion Bank.
