“Live in the sunshine, swim the sea,
drink the wild air”

Values and Guiding Principles
Family, happiness, health, integrity, loyalty, meaningful work and relationships - these are the core values and guiding principles I live by.
Your Story, Your Experience
One of the most important lessons I learned as a student and in life is that in order to become good at providing advice, one must not only listen to understand, but also recognize that everyone’s economic and life situation is unique.
Wealth management is more than just portfolio management. To do it well, and to do it properly, we have to address the 4-Pillars of Wealth Planning:
- Building Net Worth
- Implement Tax-Efficient Strategies
- Protecting What Matters
- Leaving a Legacy
While I have been helping my clients discover and achieve what truly matters to them for over 27 years now, that message has become even more apparent. I understand that clients are the most important part of my team, and that a meaningful conversation through deep discovery is essential before recommending any product or service.
Whether your objectives involve planning for retirement, looking for tax efficient strategies, protecting your income and those who matter to you, or any of the other 11 wealth considerations, I want to help you make the best decisions.
Your Investment Advisor - "Helping you preserve your family legacy for over 25 years"
I am a long-time resident of this beautiful province. My wife Jai and I call White Rock our home with "Penny", a white female boxer we rescued through "Without Borders Boxer Rescue", a non-profit organization that we continue to support. I am a son and one of five children with four sisters, and an uncle to four nephews and one niece. My mom lives a few minutes away in a suburb near Richmond. My favourite motto is "leave it better than you found it!". I am a cyclist, paddler, hiker, "overlander" and "Pender-Islander", on the off days. I am also an avid reader and my favourite authors are: Lee Child, Vince Flynn, Brad Thor, Nicholas Sparks and Khaled Hosseini. I am an active (10+ years) supporter and fundraiser for the Canadian Cancer Society, BC Cancer Agency and Canuck Place Children's Hospice.
My educational background includes an undergraduate degree in macro-and-micro economics from the University of British Columbia, a minor in psychology, and a diploma in financial management through the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Although I earned my professional designations (CFP®, CIM®, FCSI®, FMA) through continued schooling, they do not mean anything without connecting with the people I interact with for wealth management discussions.
