Holding the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), and Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI) designations, Richard brings over 30 years of wealth management expertise to every client relationship. Having guided clients through multiple market cycles, economic downturns and periods of uncertainty, he believes his experience navigating a wide range of market environments gives his clients the confidence that their financial futures are in steady, seasoned hands. The FCSI is the highest distinction awarded by the Canadian Securities Institute, reserved for professionals who demonstrate the highest standards of industry knowledge, ethics, and client commitment.
Born and raised in Lac La Biche, Alberta and of Métis heritage, Richard has a deeply personal connection to the concept of legacy and understands how values, community, and family shape the financial decisions that matter most. He is actively involved in TD’s Indigenous Peoples Mentorship Program, providing guidance to young First Nations, Inuit, and Métis professionals entering the industry. Richard and his wife Jill have two adult children. Outside the office he enjoys running, golf, and pickleball. A lifelong Oilers fan, he has learned that conviction and patience are virtues, even when the playoffs feel a long way off. He also has a soft spot for old records which he enjoys listening to.
