Martin has worked in financial services since 1994, and has experience in public accounting, tax, estate planning, and portfolio management for families, trusts, corporations, and local government. Some of his credentials include: 

  • The Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation offered by FP Canada, and the Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) designation offered by the Canadian Securities Institute.
  • Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute.
  • University of Victoria Bachelor's degree in Economics (1992).
  • Graduate of the Canadian Securities Course (Honours), the Professional Financial Planning Course, and the Technical Analysis Course (Honours) offered by the Canadian Securities Institute .

Martin works with Peter Newman and Ashley Camponi as part of the Hoffman Newman Wealth Management Group, a team of investment professionals within the Victoria office of TD Wealth Private Investment Advice. By collaborating with TD specialists, we provide a full suite of wealth management services to affluent clients, including financial planning, investment management, and retirement and estate planning.
