Working together to help you achieve what truly matters to you

Lynn began her financial career in the investment industry in 1986 after completing her Bachelor of Administration Degree from theUniversityofReginaand attaining her Certified Management Accountant’s (CMA) designation.   This was followed by becoming a Certified Investment Manager (CIM), a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI) and, in 1999 a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA), a program offered by the Investment Management Consultants Association and taught at the Wharton School of Finance.

Investment Philosophy & Style:
Education and 26 years of experience enabledLynnto develop an investment program utilizing sophisticated tactical investment strategies by incorporating a risk management process into the everyday management of investment portfolios.  The Disciplined Tactical Approach is focused on understanding the current market environment and recognizing change. The approach focuses on combining stocks that provide upside potential (fundamental analysis) and identifying those stocks with strong relative strength (technical analysis) in the marketplace and concentrating portfolio investments in those areas for as long as those trends remain intact. This approach places particular emphasis on protection of capital.

Investment Process:
The investment process begins with the completion of an Investment Policy Questionnaire that determines the asset mix between Fixed Income and Equity.  Once your investment strategy is agreed upon, we take care of your portfolio’s construction, security selection, monitoring, rebalancing and performance reporting and will provide ongoing advice to enhance your portfolio over the long term. The Fixed Income asset class is known for its relative ‘safety’ and low volatility. We search for bonds and international bond managers that add value to the portfolio. The Equity component follows the “Dynamic Asset Level Investing” methodology and the 3-Legged Stool. The 3-Legged Stool program allows the composition of an investment portfolio to change over time and thus becomes a risk management tool for the equity portion of investor portfolios.
