David has worked in the financial services industry for over 30 years and has spent more than 25 years advising individuals on their personal financial plans and investments. He has a developed a deep understanding of trusts, estates and the complexity of multi-generational planning.
David holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from McMaster University. He is licensed as a Registered Representative in his capacity as an Investment Advisor at TD Wealth Private Investment Advice and is a licensed Life Insurance Advisor with TD Wealth Insurance Services. David also holds the Personal Financial Planner (PFP®) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designations.
David previously worked for the federal government, where he co-authored a report for the Department of Finance that led to a federal tax credit to help parents fund their children’s organized fitness. With his experience in government, banking, trusts and investments, David offers his clients valuable insights into many areas of financial services.
Outside of work, David is active in his community, having served as past Director of the Port Moody Art Centre, President of the Port Moody Aquarian Swim Club and Vice President for Water Polo with the BC Summer Swim Association. He enjoys travelling and spending time with his family and friends.

Dave’s innovative approach to wealth management combines the best available research with what he believes to be the most suitable investment solutions. His process for building comprehensive and forward-looking strategies is deeply informed by his experience in wealth planning.
Dave is licensed for the use of options, derivatives, hedge funds and ETFs and has developed a proven investment model. He holds the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation. He has been with TD Wealth since 2011.
Dave’s diverse background can also be seen in his activities in the community. He is a former sponsored race car driver, co-founded a natural health products company and has sat on several non-profit and charity boards.
Dave and his wife, Abby, have three young children.

Karen has been in the investment industry for more than 20 years and joined TD Wealth Private Investment Advice in 2014. She holds a B.Comm. in Marketing from the Sauder School of Business at UBC. Karen has held the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) and the Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI®) designations since 2005, and received her Certificate in Advanced Investment Advice in 2015. She is also a Life Insurance Advisor with TD Wealth Insurance Services.
Karen strives to provide friendly, professional and top-quality service to all our clients. She is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, and studied French for 10 years. Karen is a key contact person on the team, and works on trading, planning and running the operations side of the business.
Karen enjoys travelling, trying new restaurants and spending time with friends and family. She lives in Vancouver with her husband Kevin.
Jennifer has worked in the financial services industry for over 20 years. With her extensive expertise and knowledge of the industry, Jennifer is integral in the structuring of the team’s business development initiatives. She prides herself on delivering the highest-quality client service and is committed to continually exceeding client expectations.
Jennifer holds the PFP® designation, and enjoys engaging clients in a positive way to help them clearly define their goals and objectives. Jennifer and her husband, Paul, live on the North Shore with their two children. She enjoys volunteering, camping, hockey and reading. Jennifer is also active in helping various charities and serves as a board member for various organizations.
Cindy’s roots are in Hong Kong, but she grew up in Vancouver and calls it home. She graduated from the University of British Columbia with a BA in Asian Area Studies and Political Science. Upon graduation, she started her career in personal banking, before joining TD Wealth Private Investment Advice in 2017.
Outside of work, Cindy can be found on her spin bike or yoga mat, spending time with her family and friends or reading about the latest health trends.
