Working together to help you achieve what truly matters to you

Idrees Baksh is one of the founding members of the Larente Baksh & Associates team. Without Idrees’s precious contribution, the Larente Baksh & Associates team would not have been a member of the very select few to have crossed the one billion dollar of assets under management. Idrees has been working in the areas of personal and corporate finance for over 30 years. He has obtained his DMS designation (Derivatives Markets Specialist), his CIM designation (Chartered Investment Manager) and his Executive MBA.

Idrees manages the strategy using options. He presides over the committee responsible to manage the risk and volatility the portfolio is exposed to. Over the years, Idrees designed proprietary mathematical models and algorithms which relate to risk management and income generation, which coincide with the team's effort to provide a more stable and consistent rate of return while still allowing for capital growth. The strategies he uses work in perfect harmony with the fixed income and the equity in place in the portfolio.

He shares his life with his wife, Irina, and is the proud father of Jessica.

Idrees specializes in:
- Derivatives
- Technical analysis
- Risk management
