Glenn joined TD Wealth in 2014 with more than a decade’s worth of experience. He witnessed firsthand the Canadian bull market in his early years spurred by the surge in oil prices, the market calamity that then followed during the credit crisis of 2008-09 and the subsequent rebound in global markets for the better part of ten years. He realized that not every client handled those market events in the same way and that the emotional reactions had a far greater impact on their net worth than the actual underlying wealth strategy. That realization sent Glenn on a path to learn everything he possibly could about behavioral finance and wealth mentoring to complement his expertise in financial markets.
Today, Glenn runs a concierge advisory practice dedicated to understanding the person before the numbers. This helps him and his team to produce strong outcomes for his clients in the areas of investment management, family business succession, intergenerational wealth transfer and philanthropic planning. He is passionate about helping clients realize their goals and fulfilling their personal vision of success.
Glenn and his wife Erika have been happily married since 2004 and their daughter Brooklyn keeps them on the go watching her compete in volleyball, ringette, basketball and flag football. The competitive spirit is alive and well in the MacLean household!
