Event Highlights - 2025 Client Presentation Dinner

 

On November 20, we hosted our Client Presentation Dinner, providing an opportunity to reconnect and share market insights for the year ahead. My colleague, Ben Foster, opened the evening, reflecting on the past year and discussing two major forces shaping 2025: geopolitical tensions and the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence. His remarks underscored the importance of diversification, resilience, and long-term strategy.

 

The highlight of the evening was the thoughtful presentation by Brendan Fitzgerald from RBC Global Asset Management, who delivered an insightful presentation covering the 2025 year-end market landscape and the 2026 investment outlook. His discussion addressed key themes including interest rate trends, equity market volatility, historical return patterns, risk-and-reward dynamics, the role of bonds as portfolio stabilizers, and the long-term benefits of disciplined investing. Brendan’s data-driven perspective reinforced the importance of maintaining a balanced approach and staying invested through changing market cycles.
