• 2025 September Edition

As you plan for the years ahead, it's important to think about how your assets and wishes will be protected. Estate Planning is outlining instructions for distributing your assets in case of death or incapacitation. It can be a complicated topic to discuss. Supported by a team of specialists, we can help you with a variety of services to help make your future more certain. Some of those services include:

    • Wills: A will is a legal document detailing who gets your assets, custody of minor children and who you've appointed to carry out your wishes.
    • Power of Attorney (POA): A POA is a binding document giving a corporation or someone the legal right to make financial and/or medical decisions on your behalf.
    • Trusts: A trust is a legal arrangement appointing a trustee to manage assets on behalf of beneficiaries.

Key Benefits of Strong Estate Planning

    • You can decide who acts for you after you die and declare who you want to take care of your kids.
    • You can dictate where your assets go.
    • You can minimize taxes.

    Important reminder

Review your will or POA regularly, especially after major life changes such as marriage, buying a home, or having children.
