At Perpetual Wealth Advisory Group, our goal is to provide a deep and meaningful wealth management experience that is customized to your distinct needs and objectives. We work with high net worth clients throughout Toronto to help them live the lifestyle they want today while helping them achieve their vision of success tomorrow.

Affluent investors who are new to Canada have unique needs. Settling into life in a new country comes with a whole host of challenges, from understanding local customs to deciphering the rules that apply to wealth planning and investing, such as legal and accounting procedures, financial practices, business regulations and tax issues.

We can help. We understand how difficult transitioning to life here can be. Let us assist with the many facets of your wealth management; that way, you can focus on getting your family settled.

While immigrants may have specific requirements, what they have in common with Canadian investors is a desire to help grow and preserve their wealth, to plan for the future, to take care of their aging parents, and to prepare for the needs of their children and grandchildren.

We are committed to helping you meet those evolving investment objectives – today, and for generations to come.

Adopting a comprehensive approach

Whether you’re a new immigrant, a retiree, a professional or a business owner, our team first aims to uncover everything there is to know about your current situation, as well as your short- and long-term goals. We believe that it’s critical for us to have a complete understanding of your finances so we can provide you with recommendations and strategies that dovetail with your requirements.

Then, the planning can begin.

Perpetual Wealth Advisory Group is committed to developing a plan that incorporates as many aspects of your financial situation as possible. By considering both the big picture and the smallest details, applying our understanding of the applicable legal and tax constraints, and asking questions you may not think to ask yourself, we can help ensure that you take advantage of available opportunities, are mindful of your obligations and keep your expectations reasonable.

Whenever it’s applicable, we leverage the range of resources available through the TD network so that your wealth management plan is as comprehensive as possible. By collaborating with TD specialists in tax, trusts, estate, mortgage lending, high net worth and business succession planning, we ensure you have access to the knowledge and experience that will help you make the decisions that are right for you, your family and your business. In addition, we will coordinate the efforts of your other professional advisors, such as your lawyer and accountant, to help you structure your operating company, holdco or family trust. We can also offer insurance strategies, as required.

Throughout, our team is dedicated to providing attentive and responsive service; we want the wealth and investment planning process to be as simple for you as possible. As part of this commitment, we strive to help our clients – and their children and grandchildren – become financially literate so they can better understand the investment landscape.

Helping you craft portfolios tailored to your needs

When building your customized investment portfolio, we are guided by the overriding principle that, while it’s important to grow your assets, it’s even more important not to lose them. As a result, we tend to stay away from risky investments as experience shows that they do not deliver high returns in the long term. Instead, we craft portfolios with the assistance of experienced financial analysts and include a balanced and diversified combination of investments, such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, ETFs, structured notes, private equity and hedge funds. In particular, we favour dividend-generating investments as they can offer stability and cash flow.
