I have an investment philosophy that stresses diversification, consistent cash flow and tax efficient income. The investment environment gets more complex every day. I create my portfolios by consulting a variety of sources and meeting with industry leaders to gather data and information.
As your situation changes, your goals may change and your finances may become more complex. I will work with your existing advisors such as your accountant, lawyer and banker to help facilitate a coordinated approach to helping you achieve those goals in a tax efficient manner.
In addition to myself, I can engage TD Specialists that are there to assist clients and their families with their business succession planning, will and estate planning and insurance needs.
About Me
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Toronto. In addition to a variety of industry related courses including estate planning, options trading and risk management, I have also achieved the designation of Certified Financial Planner (CFP®).
I began my career as an equity and options trader with the Bank of Montreal. I then went on to spend 17 years with CIBC as a financial planning consultant within their private wealth management division working with both corporate and personal clients advising in all areas of wealth management. Most recently, I built a successful practice with RBC Dominion Securities managing the investment portfolios for high net worth clients and their families.
Away from the office, I enjoy golfing, skiing, hockey, photography and spending time with my wife and daughter.
