Tailored solutions in tune with your needs and the needs of those you care about

With over 25 years of experience, I offer clients and their families a wealth of knowledge in the areas of investment management and estate planning strategies. The foundation of my practice is a strong, personal relationship with my clients built on trust and communication. That means keeping my clients informed and meeting with them as frequently as they would like.

Everyone’s financial situation is different. I help to clarify your specific objectives and develop an investment strategy designed to help you reach your specific goals while at the same time utilizing risk management strategies to minimize volatility.

I have an investment philosophy that stresses diversification, consistent cash flow and tax efficient income. The investment environment gets more complex every day. I create my portfolios by consulting a variety of sources and meeting with industry leaders to gather data and information.

As your situation changes, your goals may change and your finances may become more complex. I will work with your existing advisors such as your accountant, lawyer and banker to help facilitate a coordinated approach to helping you achieve those goals in a tax efficient manner.

In addition to myself, I can engage TD Specialists that are there to assist clients and their families with their business succession planning, will and estate planning and insurance needs.

About Me

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Toronto. In addition to a variety of industry related courses including estate planning, options trading and risk management, I have also achieved the designation of Certified Financial Planner (CFP®).

I began my career as an equity and options trader with the Bank of Montreal. I then went on to spend 17 years with CIBC as a financial planning consultant within their private wealth management division working with both corporate and personal clients advising in all areas of wealth management. Most recently, I built a successful practice with RBC Dominion Securities managing the investment portfolios for high net worth clients and their families.

Away from the office, I enjoy golfing, skiing, hockey, photography and spending time with my wife and daughter.
