I am a dedicated husband and father of two active teenagers. Our family is ingrained in our neighbourhood and community after fifteen years living in Etobicoke. When not at my desk, I spend time skiing, road cycling, swimming and being outdoors to gain fitness and energy. Growing up as a competitive swimmer allowed me to garner determination, discipline, diligence, and consistency as personal characteristics I retain today.
I apply the same characteristics to my business as a Senior Investment Advisor. Working to help people is a prominent and consistent aspect of my career. I believe a high emotional quotient, sensitivity and good communication skills are what makes me good at what I do. This same connective approach applies to the relationships I have with my TD clients. Building a relationship starts with getting to know one another and discovering what truly matters to someone. This process continues by building on financial goals and objectives, creating a written plan and presenting solutions. Active listening and asking clarifying questions along the way are what makes people feel listened to and understood.
I attended the University of British Columbia where I graduated with a degree in English and math. Subsequently a passion for investments, working with technical data and information engaged me to start working in the financial services industry.
