Cameron Murton works as an Investment Advisor with TD Wealth Private Investment Advice. Cameron has extensive experience in finance having begun his career in Investment Banking with a Big 6 Canadian bank, where he assisted several multi-national companies to raise capital and identify potential mergers and acquisitions. The financial analysis skills developed in this role have allowed Cameron to build a knowledgeable understanding of the financial markets. With this experience, Cameron joined TD Wealth Private Investment Advice in order to provide investment strategies and navigate individual, corporate and institutional investors through potential investment and financial planning decisions.
Cameron uses his investment expertise to develop diversified, comprehensive and personalized investment portfolios and investment plans to facilitate participation in gains while helping to reduce downside risks and taxes. Cameron understands that clients want an investment advisor who takes into account how clients feel and combines it with what’s rational. Cameron’s commitment to regular communication and sound investment advice allows him to build long-term relationships with clients. His goal is to provide clients with peace of mind that they have financial security, actively managing portfolios to maximize clients gains while reacting to the downside and fluctuations in the markets. Keith Stone joins us from another Wealth Management Practice at TD Wealth. He has a Bachelor Degree from UBC Okanagan in Economics with a minor in Psychology. Before moving to Canada, Keith lived most of his youth in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Australia. With an English Father and a Japanese Mother, Keith's able to speak both English and Japanese. During his free time, Keith enjoys playing and watching sports, especially Football (Soccer), Rugby and Tennis.
April got her start on the banking side of the financial services industry, but has spent the last 12 years at a full service investment firm on a large wealth management practice. She has had the opportunity to work in various roles over the years, but the past several years she has focused her attention on client relationships and keeping clients on track to meet their financial goals. She has completed numerous industry courses and is on the path to acquiring her Certified Financial Planning designation. April was born in the Vancouver area, and after a few years living in the Okanagan she moved back home to Vancouver to stay.
On a personal side, April spends her evenings and weekends hiking, cycling, spending time outdoors and mixing in travel as much as possible. She is a middle child to a large family and has five nieces and two nephews. They are all involved in their respective sports and she can be found cheering along the sidelines whenever she can.
Ivan Chan joins us as a recent graduate from Simon Fraser University with a B.A. degree in Economics and minor in Business. Before his time at university, Ivan did most of his education at an International School in Hong Kong making him fluent in Cantonese and English. Ivan assists the team in providing quality service and administrative support to clients. Outside of work he enjoys playing team sports such as hockey, basketball, and spending time with his two dogs exploring the outdoors.
