About T.J.
Since 2007, T.J. brings a breadth of financial industry experience to his work as an Investment Advisor from a variety of disciplines, including financial planning, branch management and investment advisory services.
With an extensive background in financial planning, T.J. is able to provide thoughtful and customized wealth plans for his clients. He recognizes the importance of creating tailored strategies that meet the unique investment objectives of each individual, with the shared goal of delivering longer-term success to last a lifetime.
T.J. does not believe in taking a standard “cookie cutter” approach to managing wealth. He focuses on providing custom and comprehensive wealth management solutions that may include investment and tax planning strategies, risk management, retirement income planning, retirement expense projection, long-term care needs assessment and estate planning strategies, engaging with TD specialists where needed.
Delivering exceptional client experiences is paramount to T.J.’s practice. While his objective is to help clients by managing their wealth and allowing them to focus their energy on other important aspects of life, he also believes in the value of supporting those clients who wish to enhance their financial knowledge through client workshops, monthly wealth management insights and quarterly newsletter ideas.
T.J. understands the significance of his role as a steward of his clients’ wealth and remains committed to providing no-bias investment advice, with the objective of always making the most appropriate decisions for his clients.
T.J. holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation, which is considered the standard for financial planning worldwide, involves a rigorous education program that CFP professionals have demonstrated the knowledge, skills, experience and ethics to examine their clients’ entire financial picture, at the highest level of complexity required of the profession, and work with their clients to build a financial plan so that they can live life confidently.
T.J. holds the Fellow of Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI®) designation, which is the pinnacle financial services credential and the highest honour in Canadian financial services. It is reserved for an exclusive group of financial professionals who demonstrate unparalleled leadership, integrity, commitment, and dedication to their clients and industry.
T.J. is also a Life Insurance Advisor through TD Wealth Insurance Services.
T.J. lives in the Windsor area with his wife Yu Lan, their two young children, Julianna & Maverick, and golden doodle, Harley. He is dedicated to giving back to the community and has participated in numerous local and national charity fundraisers including Maryvale Adolescent and Family Services, Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare, the Wounded Warrior Project and the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. In his spare time, T.J. enjoys spending time traveling with his family and spending time outdoors enjoying golfing, cycling, running and skiing.
