James is a Portfolio Manager overseeing the day-to-day investment decisions of the business, including monitoring the performance of externally managed funds and identifying product & solutions that may help address client's financial objectives and needs.
After graduating from York University in 2005 James went on to manage a property development company where he oversaw the design and construction of single-family residences in multiple jurisdictions in Ontario. In 2009, James transitioned his career and joined The Morton Group at which point he earned his Chartered Investment Manager designation and Certificate in Advanced Investment Advice from the Canadian Securities Institute.
James enjoys spending time with his family up at their cottage and can often be found with a tool in his hands wrenching on a motorcycle or vintage car.
The Morton Group is part of TD Wealth Private Investment Advice, a division of TD Waterhouse Canada Inc. which is a subsidiary of The Toronto-Dominion Bank.
