I knew from a young age that I was destined for the financial industry. Growing up with a father who was a stockbroker and mining engineer, our family dinner discussions often revolved around local gold stocks, the price of gold, the market, dividends and inflation. Intrigued by it all, I began working alongside my father and soaked up as much as I could. When I was old enough, I took my Canadian Securities Course and was on my way. My father taught me many valuable lessons, but one that is forever ingrained in my mind is ‘your word is your bond’. It’s a lesson I carry with me, pass along to my family and team and try to live up to in every client interaction. It is important for me to develop trusting relationships with the people in my personal and professional life.
In the early stages of my career I knew I wanted to do more than just mine stocks. I wanted to help simplify the complexities of wealth management, so my clients felt more confident in achieving their financial and retirement goals. Becoming an Investment Advisor who specializes in retirement income has proven to be so fulfilling because I get to do just that. For over 35 years, I’ve helped clients achieve their vision for their retirement and legacy.
Hank Wissenz and I founded RiverKeeper Wealth Management. We’re an experienced team of specialists dedicated to helping our clients define and achieve their goals for the present and future. We are there for each step of the retirement planning process and ensure you have the tools and knowledge to succeed.

My Background
• Certified Financial Planner (CFP®)
• Fellowship to the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI®)
• Certificate in Retirement Strategy
• Bachelor of Business Economics
• Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®)
The FCSI® is the most senior credential in Canadian financial services. I felt strongly about completing the FCSI® because it is reserved for an elite group of experienced financial service professionals that meet the highest standards for advanced education, ethical conduct, industry experience and peer endorsement. For me, trust and integrity are at the core of all successful client relationships. By expanding my knowledge base, I'm confident that I can provide a higher level of service.
In addition to my career, I love spending time with my family and enjoy being active. When the weather is nice, you can find me outdoors swimming, playing volleyball or biking. During the winter, I love spending my time on the slopes with my family and friends. Always eager to try new things, I recently learned how to play pickle-ball which ignited my competitive spirit.
