With well over a decade of industry experience and commitment to professionalism, my clients benefit from a detailed advisory process and disciplined investment philosophy. My clients can also rely on experienced advice and customized wealth plans designed to meet their lifetime financial goals.
I began my career in financial services with a major Canadian Chartered Bank, progressing through roles in personal banking, account management, and financial planning. I then gained institutional experience as an analyst within the asset management division of a leading Canadian mutual fund company. Prior to joining TD Wealth, I was a senior manager with one of Canada’s oldest independent investment management firms. I earned a degree in Economics from McMaster University in 1993, and was awarded a second degree in Political Science from McMaster in 1994.
My commitment to professionalism is demonstrated through my service to clients, as well as my achievement in industry specific education. I have passed level one of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program, been awarded the Financial Management Advisor (FMA) designation, am a licensed life insurance advisor, and in 2006 was awarded the Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI) designation. The FCSI designation is awarded to industry professionals whose superior training and experience exemplify excellence. It is recognized as the highest honour in the Canadian financial services industry.
I believe that your investment portfolio is just a piece of your total wealth management picture. In fact, TD Wealth has determined that there are 11 critical wealth planning considerations to be addressed when developing a comprehensive wealth plan. By incorporating all these considerations I am able to work with my clients and their families in creating, preserving, and protecting their wealth over time.
