After completing my Four-Year Bachelor of Business Administration program at Brandon University, I started with TD Canada Trust in Deloraine Branch as a Financial Services Representative in April 2009. I took over as the Branch Manager at the Deloraine Branch in November 2010. During my six years in Deloraine I managed an exceptional team of five employees and we prided ourselves in the service levels provided in our branch.
In March 2015, I made a shift in my career to focus on Investments and joined TD Wealth Financial Planning as a Financial Planner, with my primary office based out of Brandon, MB, where I spent the majority of my working hours. I also supported one rural branch in Dauphin, MB. I continued to support clients from Deloraine, MB and Pilot Mound, MB which were closed in 2018 and 2017, respectively.
Currently, I support households of clients in the Western Manitoba and Eastern Saskatchewan area and am constantly learning more about my business and my clients in order to provide a superior client experience. I work with a wide variety of clientele including: pre-retired individuals, retired individuals, corporations, farmers, professionals and small business owners. My targeted segments are retiring farmers and business owners. I draw on my experience and what my family went through when selling the family farm back in 2009 and can speak to what the transition process is like when a farmer wants to retire.
I have obtained my Certified Financial Planning (CFP) designation from FP Canada in February 2021. I am also a Life Insurance Advisor with TD Wealth Insurance Services. In addition, I have obtained my Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation, as ongoing education is very important to me.
In September 2021, I made a career shift and joined TD Wealth Private Investment Advice as Senior Investment Advisor based out of Brandon, MB branch. In my role, I'm focused on managing investment portfolios for my clients and addressing any additional needs that my clients have in regards to high net worth financial planning, estates, trusts, insurance and private banking by engaging the appropriate TD specialists as needed. I believe in the power of a solid financial plan and personalized service where clients feel like I know them personally and they aren't just a number.
As my business continues to grow, I find new clients primarily through introductions provided from existing clients that feel comfortable enough to connect me with their friends and family members. I look forward to working with you!
